Now how do you release resistance and what is it?
First lets begin with what resistance is.
Resistance comes in the form of any emotion that doesn’t feel good to you.
- Fear
- Sadness
- Anger
- Jealousy
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Loneliness
- Self-doubt
- Etc.
Some people call these emotions negative. I say they are emotions that are of a lower vibration, creating energy that hinders you from living a life you love.
Yes, we as humans will feel lower vibration emotions often.
If you have been reading my articles for awhile now, you know that it’s important for you to pay attention to what it is you are feeling and thinking.
As you raise your own awareness of where your emotions are on the Emotional Scale, you begin to learn more about yourself.
I’ll include the Emotional Scale once again at the bottom of this article. I encourage you to print it and keep it where you will see it daily.
Now that you have an idea of what resistance is, what can you do to release it in your life?
- Meditation is one of the quickest ways to release resistance. If you’ve never practiced meditation, begin with downloading an app on your smart phone with relaxing music. That way it’s with you where ever you go. Could be ocean waves, rain drops, flute or piano music. Anything that will allow you to relax and let the cares of your day go.
- Breathe. As you feel yourself tensing up throughout your day, remember to take deep breaths. This actually helps lower your blood pressure and increases the oxygen flow through your body.
- Appreciate. Slow down and look around you for anything that you appreciate. I teach that appreciation is a doorway to quickly get from the right side of the Emotional Scale, where the vibrations are lower, to the left side, where they are higher. You can always think about or look for people or things you are grateful for, can’t you?

The thoughts you think, act as a broadcast signal that tells the Universe, what you want to experience.
Even if you’re focusing on things you don’t want. The opposite is also true. As you think about how you want a certain situation to playout first, you are helping to bring it into form. Or manifest it. Some call this setting an intention.
As a result of focusing on something repetitively, you start attracting more of it into your life. Whether it’s of a positive or negative nature. Or another way to say it, whether it’s of a higher or lower vibration.
Above all, you want to feel good and enjoy your life, right?
When you follow these ideas to release resistance on a daily basis, you are setting up your days to flow in a direction you want.
Living a life you love is a wonderful by-product of consciously releasing resistance often.
