Let Go and Let God, is something I’ve heard a lot over the years. Will you strive for it?
First, it’s all about having faith.
I find I like how this sounds and yet it’s not the easiest at times to pull off, “Let Go and Let God”.
Recently, I called Pastor Ruby to help me with feelings I was having that didn’t feel good.
Because she has this wonderful way about her, her humanity part of her, to make me feel as I’m talking to a friend, I’m at ease immediately.
As she gives instances in her own life of a similar feeling to mine, I seem to breathe easier.
Also, as Pastor Ruby continued and ended with prayers to help me and all of us involved, I found it easier to get closer to “Let Go and Let God”.
As a result, the heaviness I felt was lighter.
Many people in my life right now, need lots of prayers and peace.
Therefore, I’ve heard about some children who are very sick and or have passed away.
Brain tumors have affected a couple children close to me. Why? I have asked that many times now.
I’m not at liberty to go into detail on this, only know, I appreciate any of your prayers being sent this way to me and my family.
“Let go and let God” has become a beloved saying. It helps to release it to God when you’re overwhelmed.
But in every case, what “Let go and let God” comes down to is the following:
“We need to let go of our own will. We must claim as our own the incredibly hard prayer that Jesus prayed: “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but Yours be done” (Luke 22:42)
Whether you are a Christian or follow any other faith, this passage can be helpful.
Finally, I plan to do my best to remember everything I’m saying in this article.
I promise to look for and find answers when I’m feeling overwhelmed.
Continuing to send light, love and prayers, to all those I love and to myself as well, helps me.
Naturally, as I practice “let go and let God”, I’m feeling some of the burden fall off of me.
Please share with me times you’ve struggled and what helped you.
I’m finding as I reach out to many close people in my world, I know I’m not alone.
With love and appreciation,
Connie
