When A Dream Finally Comes True
Because I have had the dream of hosting a spiritual retreat in Sedona, Arizona for over 3 years, I’m excited to tell you it is finally coming true in less than one week.
Only, when you read this article, I will be flying home from my retreat, having realized this dream!
You see, 3 years years ago, I attended a friend’s vision board workshop. I was drawn to the photos of the red rocks in Sedona and cut them out to place on my board.
I really never thought about it again unless I looked at my vison board over the next months.
After my October 2018 Kauai Spiritual Vacation Retreat, I was home for one week. Then the thoughts of hosting another retreat in Sedona came to me.
Since this dream had been brewing in the back of my mind for several months, I had to research it.
A dream for me is something that I have guidance on.
I know God was guiding me on moving forward on this dream.
Furthermore, I had read about the strong Vortex Energy that is felt by many, among the red rocks of Sedona. Healing takes place among this energy.
Similarly, the strong Vortex Energy is felt around the world in various places.
Kauai, where I hosted three other spiritual retreats, is one of those places.
Consequently, as I googled Sedona and places to stay, I knew my type of retreat would be best, if I hosted it in a private home.
That’s when I found Moondance. It’s a large home with 9 bedrooms, several baths, a yoga/meditation room, next to a creek, a built-in swimming pool and hot tub, two fire pits, and it sits at the base of Cathedral Rock. It also is on more than an acre of land. This is one of the strongest Vortex Energy locations in Sedona.
Imagine, being bathed in the Vortex Energy while you’re sleeping. This truly is a dream that began at a vision board workshop!

First our retreat was to begin last April of 2020. Then the pandemic hit. My dream had to wait.
As I’m making all of the final preparations for this long-awaited dream to come true, I have many different feelings. Mostly, all wonderful feelings.
Of course, my human fears began to creep in this week. Only I quickly replaced them with visions of this amazing dream finally coming true.
What about you? Can you remember what it was like for you to realize a dream you had?
Another thing I’m aware of, is when people get older, they tend to not allow themselves to have dreams for their life. It would be an easy thing to slip into.
However, I know that as I have moved toward making my dream, whatever it is, a reality, the more youthful I have felt.
Yes, it takes lots of preparation when you are hosting a spiritual vacation retreat or any event.
Luckily for me, with my first 3 retreats under my belt, I knew working with Adrian in Kauai, taught me lots of things. Adrian handled so much of my Kauai retreat details.
In contrast, this one was put together by just me. I have learned through Adrian, and taking the trip to Thailand with Sandra Yancey, from taking her classes on hosting retreats.
When each retreat is complete, I have felt my confidence strengthen.
Confidence in my ability to host a retreat where men and women, come away with more calm, tools to live a life they love, and learn how to “simply be”.
My friend, Elda Dorothy, a gifted healer in EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique, and Reiki, has stated that my first Kauai Retreat in 2015, was her favorite where she learned to “Just be”. And she has attended several other retreats.
Elda will be joining us again for the Sedona Spiritual Vacation Retreat, sharing her gifts again.
Finally, my dream for my life, my purpose, has been to help others to live in joy and in turn share it. As you do this, you are helping raise the vibration or energy around you. Thus, raising the vibration of our planet and country.
My wish for each of you, is to live your dreams.
With love and blessings,
Connie
