Do you treasure all of your life’s experiences? I know it’s a different question.
As I look back at my last 60 years of being alive, I know that each experience I have had, added to the sum total of who I am today. The pain, the wonderful times, the quiet, reflective times, the very joyous times. Everything.
I really am not able to leave any of the experiences out, when I’m treasuring all of my life’s experiences.
I have had times when pain in my life lead me to deep despair. During these times, it seemed as if being alive was just too hard. Have you had times such as these in your life?
When I had these times, I truly only was able to live one second at a time. I felt like every day was broken into moments, since taking too large of a chunk was just too much. I kept in physical action, since I already had the habit of going to the health club. That kept my energy flowing for a time, and my focus wasn’t always on the pain.
Eventually I could chunk together more than seconds. Now today, I live in more joy, most of my moments, than I ever imagined was possible. I still have sad moments, angry moments, moments when I’m afraid. Only I now know how to move through all of them and really appreciate who I am, what I have, and yes, where I’ve been.
So, yes, I do treasure my life’s experiences. Some experiences, I wish I had a do over. There’s no such thing!
I am a better person for everything I have lived through and am living through.
Now I’m focusing more on creating moments that will blend in beautifully with this tapestry of my life I am weaving every day. I’m focusing more on how I can help others to love themselves and live in more joy in their presents moments.
I’m grateful for all of the coaches and visionary people who were guided into my life, to help me to become more of who I was meant to be when I came here to this planet. I’m grateful for the people I have coached and given a blueprint to achieve any dreams they have for their lives.
I look forward to all of the new experiences I will create this year of 2015!
I ask you to stop and look at your life and treasure your experiences, because they have created the beautiful person you are today!
By the way, the photo I have shown here is from one year ago, when I was on the most memorable European trip with Hale, my parents, and other members of my family.
With love and blessings,
Connie
