The emotions that come when you receive messages are real.
What do I mean by this?
First, this was the second Thanksgiving, I wasn’t back with my family in my hometown of Toledo, Ohio.
The other time in my life, was my mom’s last Thanksgiving and Christmas here on earth, in 2020.
Once again, due to Covid, I wasn’t able to be there.
You see, my 6 1/2 month pregnant daughter, Abby and her 14 month old Elianah, came down with Covid while they were staying here after we flew from Florida. They were waiting for the movers to bring their furniture, so they could move into their new home less than 20 minutes from us here in Minnesota.
Consequently, the messages I was strongly getting, were not to take a chance and fly there to possibly infect my precious 92 year old dad, Homer.
I had tested negative 3 times. However, being in such close proximity to my daughter and granddaughter, the chances of me getting Covid were high.
The day after Thanksgiving, I tested positive. Thankfully, my symptoms have been fairly minor. I’m writing this 3 days after my positive test.
As I was sitting reading my daily inspirational readings, on Thanksgiving morning, two pieces of paper fell out of one of my mom’s old books I’ve been reading each day since August, when my dad gave me her book.
It was then, I received one of the messages I’m talking about.
One paper was a Thanksgiving message/prayer, Mom cut out of the newspaper. The other was on an index card with this passage:
“May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm on your face.
The rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.”
I immediately burst into tears. I felt Mom’s presence and knew this was one of her messages she was giving me.
How did I miss these two papers for the last few months tucked into that book? My sadness and missing Mom are strong emotions. I felt them for a bit and then felt grateful she gave me her messages on Thanksgiving morning.
Mom has given me and my siblings many messages since she left this earth on August 16, 2021.
It reminds me of my friend here in the Twin Cities book she wrote as she received an entire book of messages from her son, Mikey, who passed away several years ago in a freak accident while in college in Colorado.
Her book has the most beautiful messages about heaven and how those that have departed this earth, are not far away.
Here is the link to purchase the book on Amazon. I have gifted it to several people. My dad has read it as well. He said it was the most beautiful representation of heaven he has heard. You may want to buy it, read it and gift it as well.
Because you can’t make someone understand a message they are not ready to receive, it may take awhile for someone to recognize the messages that are meant for them.
I’m excited for you to read the book:
Let me know what your thoughts are. There are many messages we get on a daily basis that are for our guidance too.
What are some of yours you receive?
With love and appreciation,
Connie
