Spring is beginning here in Minnesota.
Because we are so far north, the comparison to being in Ohio a few weeks ago with their growth, is obvious.
For instance, as I took a walk around our yard, I looked for our many daffodils my sister-in-law and I planted a few years ago.
No sign of them yet. I admit, I was very disappointed.
I showed you in an article, a couple weeks ago, while in Toledo, Ohio, the gorgeous daffodils and crocus my mom had planted many years ago.
They were in full bloom.
We are in a totally different “zone” for plants and planting, here in Minneapolis.
Additionally, I have noticed our days are longer now and the sun seems to shine more. This helps.
Since spring is beginning, it reminds me of rebirth and fresh new beginnings.
As a result of more rain coming, I know the grass will finally become greener and more flowers will bloom.
Like the rain, what is it you can do to improve areas of your life, to help them grow and bloom?
What are things or who are people, you may want to have a new beginning with?
Are there decisions you can make now to improve a relationship?
How about habits you have that no longer serve you?
Since the spring is beginning and it’s a time for rebirth, I’m thinking about these things for my life as well.
The delight of spring, is a fresh new contrast from our colder winters here in Minnesota.
When there is such a strong contrast with other things in life, do you also find more appreciation?
As a result of living within anything that doesn’t feel great to you, comes the awareness of the opposite and how much better it would be.
That’s part of allowing the feelings on the left side of the Emotional Scale, I’ve shared, to be present, more often.
Since being in the beauty of nature helps to stay within the higher vibrations, it’s easier to be on that left side of the scale for me.
How about for you?
Lastly, enjoying all the pleasures and the delight of springtime, helps you to live in joy more often.
My hope is you will slow down, live intentionally in your present moments, and feel more appreciation each day.
Enjoy the freshness of springtime!
Connie
