How you treat other people, is a reflection of how you feel inside.
This meme received the most social media attention of any of my recent posts.
As I stated in my article from last week about guarding yourself from negativity, “When someone makes negative comments about you, it’s really their battle with themselves.”
It’s a reflection of how they feel inside.
Same for all of us. You can’t give to others what you don’t have inside of you already.
As I began my conscious personal growth journey in 1974, at the age of 19, I learned in the classes I took, it’s vital to living a life you love, to love yourself first.
This goes hand in hand with my topic about negativity from last week. Negativity is a thief. It steals happiness.
When you learn ways each day, and use them, to keep yourself strong and healthy, physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, naturally you will treat others better.
You’ll be more kind and patient with others and with yourself. Do you agree?
It’s all a reflection of how you feel inside. This reflection will show up in every situation you are in. So, doesn’t it make sense to find ways each day to feel the best you can inside?
As I asked you last week, what are some practices that you use often to keep yourself healthy and guard you from negativity?
I have many people who send me emails each week with their thoughts as I ask certain questions in my articles.
My friend, Wynnie wrote to me:
“Crystals—black tourmaline in my left pocket, is a great protection!
Saying this every morning before I leave the house:
“I encircle myself with the white light of Love and Divine
protection, only allowing positive thoughts and energy to
affect me. Negativity will bounce off me from those I
encounter.”
Then I talk to Archangel Michael to surround me with
his blue light and egg of protection.”
As I continue to share with you and others, topics that come up each week, I know I’m encouraging you to slow down and pay attention to what you’re feeling daily.
Awareness is key for you to be the reflection of what you’re feeling inside. Did you catch that all important word? BE.
Taking time each day, if even for just a few minutes, to get quiet, meditate, pray, listen and tune in, are vital to your peace and self-love.
I use a guided meditation or soothing sounds, such as ocean waves, piano or flute music, from apps on my iPhone. This can be done even sitting at your desk or in your car, in between meetings.
Here’s a short article I found; you may want to read as well on this topic:
It’s up to you to create a life you love, so you can be a reflection of it. Therefore, treating others with kindness and love.
Isn’t this how you’d like to live?
Make the choices and add things into your day, so you can be the reflection of what you truly want to be.
With love, kindness and appreciation,
Connie

I live this daily Connie. Self acceptance and love is the first and best gift we can give. I see the lack in all my clients and it is this that I have them acknowledge and work on. Your message is beautifully stated. Thank you blessed Earth Angel
