How impatient are you? Well for me, as I’ve told you before, impatience, frustration and irritation are the 3 things I have lots of work to do to help me not experience these emotions often.
When I shared the Emotional scale showing the emotions with higher vibrations on the left and the lower vibrational emotions on the right, I told you that these 3 emotions were number 10, on the right side of this scale. They aren’t as low on the scale of vibrations as some others are, only they still are not going to get me or you the things we truly want in our life, if we stay there very long!
Here is a reminder of the Emotional Guidance Scale:
So, what is it that keeps me coming back to feeling these 3 emotions on a regular basis?
I’m not quite sure. I know at least I’m very aware of when I’m feeling these emotions, and I know I choose not to stay there very long. As I’ve told you before, I have the solution to not stay within these emotions too long, and that’s stopping and appreciating people, places and things around me.
Appreciation is a great door way to get to the other side of the Emotional Scale if not a bit higher on the scale.
How impatient are you? Do you also find yourself feeling this emotion?
I’m guessing the reason I feel these 3 emotions often, or you do as well, is wanting things a certain way right not, and not having them immediately.
This then comes back to not living within faith doesn’t it? I mean having the faith that things will be shown to us and slowing down to know that things can be in alignment when we are not doubting. Does this make sense?
During my two Glow Kauai Spiritual Vacation Retreats, Adrian, the owner of the retreat company, taught us a Chinese work, Wu Wei. Meaning simply, going with the flow. Finding ease in things, places, experiences, people and life. Allowing.
Since he helped us become aware of how important it is to live in this place of Wu Wei, I’ve been aware of when I’m not there!
I look at my life as a process, a journey, and I am consciously choosing every second of every day what I’m drawing to me or keeping away from me. So are you. Do you believe that?
Being impatient shows me I have lots more to learn here on earth. It reminds us to slow down and find our faith and ask for help. When I do, things seem to turn out with ease and grace, which allows for you and me to experience more joy in our present moments and ultimately, living the life that we truly love.
I have even used humor with myself when I find I’m living in one of these 3 emotions. Humor seems to get me shifted and not living within one of these emotions for too long.
What is it you do when you become impatient that helps you to shift out of it? Will you share with me, so maybe I can not visit these emotions as often as I do?
With love and appreciation for you,
Connie
