Happy 60th birthday to my love, Hale!
I’m older than him by 7 months. My 60th birthday was a great big party! I was trying on celebrating myself, as one of my coaches suggested I do.
Hale’s milestone birthday celebration will be much smaller and more quiet! I’m having a small dinner party for us, his sister, his cousin and two of our grandchildren, Gavin and Phoebe, the lights of Hale’s life.
It will be festive and fun and exactly like Hale wants it.
You see, as you know in your own life, we all have different ideas for many things, and how we celebrate our birthday’s, even milestone birthday’s can vary.
I met Hale in 2004 at Landmark Education, while I was about half way through taking several personal growth classes that fell into their “Curriculum For Living”, a Self Expression & Leadership class. Hale actually was my coach, a volunteer coach, only he was not allowed to date a student!
We have been together coming up to 12 years now. Hale has been just right for me, with his quiet, loving ways. He’s not a person who has a temper either, which was important to me. He’s helpful, a hard worker, and a very talented carpenter. He’s been remodeling our home I will be moving to sometime in the near future.
We both knew it was time for us to move in together after we returned from our 15 day Europe trip 2 years ago. I thought I’d be living there certainly by this time! My beautiful townhome I had built almost 13 years ago has not sold as of yet. The right family hasn’t found me or it yet!
We are ready to begin our new life together. We will be much more of a family once we can actually be under the same roof, sharing meals and everything else every day.
When I think of you Hale, my heart feels warm with so much love. You and I have known each other for almost a dozen years now, and I’m excited to begin our new life sharing so much more than we have in the past, not living in the same home.
So I hope you enjoy your big milestone birthday and my wish for you is that you feel special, cherished and loved.
Because you are!
I hope all of you reading this will celebrate yourself today and the people you love on a daily basis, cherishing everything, from small things to larger things, and feel appreciation, so you will live in more joy than you knew was possible!
With much love and many blessings,
Connie
