Do you believe that your thoughts become who you are?
You need to be aware of what your mindset is, as many of your present moments as you can.
Why? Because what you are thinking about yourself, people, situations, your life, anything, will eventually become who you are and what you have in your life.
If you are constantly thinking of things you don’t want in your life, and are focusing on what you are afraid of, and who or what you’re unhappy with, you will become someone who isn’t very pleasant to be around.
You will become an unhappy person who complains and you will not be living a life you love. You will be creating things in your life that in your heart of hearts, you truly don’t want.
In the photo shown, I’m with one of my closest friends, Lorna. Lorna just turned 104 years old last week.
I just spoke with her this morning and I was telling her about two 103 year old ladies I saw in a video on FB. These two ladies were complaining and using cuss words on a TV program they were being interviewed on.
I told Lorna how she in comparison seemed so much younger than these two ladies. Lorna immediately said to me, “It’s mindset, mindset, mindset”.
Lorna is a joy to be around. I wish all of you could know her. She has learned so many lessons living for 104 years!
You need to become aware of your thoughts throughout everyday. Stop as often as you can, and check in with yourself . Pay attention to what you’re feeling at that moment.
Your emotions are your guidance system, telling you what you are thinking. The more positive thoughts you are thinking regularly, the better you will feel in any given moment.
It’s really up to each one of us to not live on autopilot. Stop moving from one thing to the next, without paying attention to what’s going on inside of us and what’s going on around us.
We need to guard our thoughts and our mindset carefully and intentionally. As you do this, you will begin to create a happier, more joyful life, with more things going on that you truly love.
Your relationships will change for the better. Stop and appreciate what you have in your life. Your mood will change to more joy, and you’ll begin to feel more love for yourself and others.
Your action step this week is to slow down and pay attention to how you feel and what you are thinking . Will you do that?
Write to me and tell me one thing you will do this week to help yourself create a more joyful, loving and appreciative mindset!
Blessings to you,
Connie
