I’m thankful for Hale, my love. I’m thankful for both of us having good health.
I met Hale in 2004 at a personal growth class. He was a volunteer coach to five of us in the class, and we had weekly check in calls, besides seeing each other at the classes.
It wasn’t instant attraction. That came over time for me, during our weekly calls, about 2 months in or so.
He has a gentle, quiet way about him, and a strength of character I love. He feels like family, warmth and I am excited to begin our new life together soon. We have been together for over 11 years, and it was after our trip with my family to Europe I knew I finally wanted to live with him and create a new life. He felt the same way.
Before that, it felt fine living in separate homes. I think for me, I had been so hurt by my former husband, I needed to heal and learn to trust again.
The list is long of the things I love about Hale and our love.
I know when my home sells and we can start a new home together, one that Hale has been remodeling so beautifully with his own hands, it will have adjustments for each of us, after living alone for so long.
I was talking the other night with the women here for my Women In The Glow monthly Circle Group, about faith and trusting my home will sell in the just right timing. I know this at one level, only I get impatient and want to be settled in with Hale, with all my things there.
I have lived alone, other than my daughter being here with me on and off since 2001. I have found for the last several months, I’ve felt lonely living alone. Mostly in the evenings when I’m not off doing something.
As I continue to write for the next couple weeks about what I’m grateful for, I hope you will each stop and think of all that you’re grateful for or that you appreciate. Stop and do this throughout your days.
When you’re thinking of who and what you appreciate, it will literally change your energy to a higher vibration. When you’re living a more loving, joyful, appreciative, positive life, you’ll attract more of the same to you, and your mood will begin to lift.
Do it for 5 days straight, as often throughout your days as you can, stop and consciously remember to think of or write down, everything you’re grateful for.
Leave me a message about changes in your life you begin to see and feel!
With appreciation for all of you,
Connie
