Feeling so much gratitude for my life right now is such a great feeling!
I just got home from our wonderfully amazing Glow Kauai Spiritual Retreat a few hours ago. I feel humbled by everything it turned out to be.
The people who were guided to join us for this retreat, are all so loving, fun, and were looking for this spiritual retreat for 7 days/7 nights with other like-minded souls.
The family that we all created in this past week, was the most special ingredient to this retreat to really work, in each of our lives as I had envisioned it to happen. The love, laughs, fun, breakthroughs and much more that we each had, created the space for each of us to connect with ourselves in a way we never have. Oh, I am feeling so grateful for this entire retreat and everyone who was there!
Adrian Nicholas, the owner of the spiritual retreat company, Kalewa Kauai, and our photographer/videographer, Robert Brown, were such a close part of this family that we all created this past week. Adrian and Robert took care of our needs, with Adrian being the most excellent chef and guide as we toured the gorgeous island of Kauai, sharing both his culinary skills and his spiritual gifts.
Robert anticipated our every need as he was photographing us, being very aware of what was going on with each of us in every situation.
We all played and laughed, we flowed with ease in everything we did. The rejuvenation that took place throughout the entire retreat, physically, emotionally and spiritually, was so profound, there is no price tag that can be put on what all of us received from each other. And I mean all of us!
From the moment they picked us up with each of us receiving a handmade fresh flower lei, the opening circle, our many meals together, our touring and playing in the ocean, laughing as if we were children, our sailboat trip where we saw whales and spinner dolphins, our sound healer, Julie Jacky sharing her gifts with tapping (EFT), yoga and meditation with Kimberly and Adrian, massages, to all of us learning and doing the hula from a Hawaiian culture/hula instructor, my teaching 10 of the Universal Laws, to Adrian’s mom, Mona, sharing her love and several desserts she brought, to viewing sunsets and sunrises, a fantastic fire performance to our closing circle, and much, much more in between, this was a week of coming together and of growth and introspection.
We all expressed our gratitude many times for each of us giving ourselves the gift to spend this week together in such a sacred place and growing on our own individual journeys.
My 10 Universal Laws I taught 5 mornings, flowed beautifully with what Julie taught us with tapping and releasing our stuff and Kimberly synced her yoga/meditations with a Law I was teaching that day.
The day before Hale and I left for Hawaii, my new grandson, Reid Riker Hertz was born! I was able to see him at the hospital before I left. What a beautiful thing, to meet my new grandson, the son of my son and daughter-in-law! It amazes me what women go through to give birth! Laura was a trooper and she’s an amazing mom to both Reid and his big sister, my granddaughter Oliva Rose, Livi! I am feeling so much gratitude for my growing family, a part of my bloodline.
