Shown here is a portion of my family recently at my 60th birthday party.
What do you and your family do for fun together? Do you take time frequently to have fun?
I agree with the saying, “A family that plays together, stays together”.
Last night my daughter Abby and my son Adam were here for a game of cards, called “Sticks” that my parents and other family members play. We had gone out to dinner for Adam’s birthday and back here for cards afterward. It was fun to spend time with my two grown children, doing something fun.
Playing and having fun are things we need to pay attention to regularly. Just like I wrote about laughing recently in a blog. I had people contact me and write back saying they need to laugh more. Same thing with having fun.
My family of origin, all back in Toledo, Ohio, play cards and board games regularly. Some families I know, do lots of outside sports together. Whatever you choose to do, just make sure you do it often!
We can get so busy doing life, that we don’t slow down enough to just stop and take time for fun.
With your friends, with your families and also with yourself alone.
Taking your time to do things that are fun and that you love, are vital to living a life you love, do you agree? I call it Living In Your Glow!
Share with me below some things you do consciously to have fun by yourself, with your friends and with your family.
Take time this coming week to have fun!
Here’s to fun times!
