Excitement

When do you get excited? What causes you to feel excitement?

 

The photo on the left is one my daughter Abby took when she was just 12 years old in Maui.  Hawaii has been a place I have felt major excitement about since the first time I went there in 1988. My then husband and I went to the big island of Hawaii for over a week. We went again in 1996 to Maui when this photo was taken, and then again to Maui a couple years later.  Then as I wrote about last week, Hale and I went for my 50th birthday to Kauai, 10 years ago.

 

There is a certain amazing spiritual energy in Hawaii.  My soul felt at home, each time I’ve been there.

Now all of a sudden, as things can happen in life, I am planning to host and teach at my own Glow in Kauai Retreat coming up this October!  I am part of a year long mastermind in South Florida, Diamond Leadership with Kellie Kuecha, and at our first retreat October of 2014, we were asked to talk at our tables about what we could add,  that would be a “stretch” program we could offer.  At the time I had no ideas. One of the women at my table asked me where is a place I really love to go? I immediately said Hawaii.

 

That’s when the idea was born and talked about. I pictured the retreat, and got a bit of excitement going about it, and at the same time felt this vision wouldn’t take place for quite some time. Well, it’s here now and the right person was presented that owns a wonderful event/retreat company in Kauai to me!

 

How God has plans for us, when our heart and intentions are pure and authentic! It’s magical!

 

Today, I am in the major excitement of planning my first retreat in Kauai, and I feel like I’m 30 years old again!  I have been growing and learning so much in the last several years consciously and on purpose.

 

What can you do that your heart has had visions of and yet you haven’t moved forward on?

 

What will it take for you to feel this excitement I’m speaking of?
