How would you create magic in your life you may ask?
As I said in my blog last week, spending just 5 minutes each day feeling how you would like to feel, is the most important thing you can do to create the life you want to live.
So how do you do that? How do you feel something you don’t live within at this moment?
Pull from your memories, times you have felt happy and connected to life. When have you felt really peaceful and full?
These are the times you have created magic in your life. Maybe your surroundings helped you to feel this magic.
Like for me, the first time I ever heard whales talking to each other underneath the water in Maui, sparked this wonder and magic inside of me. Pure joy!
Times I’m spending with my grandchildren and they do or say something that makes my heart open even wider. Last Sunday we had our Christmas with my son’s family.
Olivia Rose, 4 years old, looked up at me and said, “Grammy when I’m with you, I can’t get close enough to you,” and crawled up on my lap. Wow, talk about feeling magic and so much love!
It brought tears to my eyes.
When 1 year old Reid laid his head on my shoulder and snuggled in hugging me tight. Pure magic and joy!
These are the feelings I’m asking you to spend just 5 minutes each day feeling. Sit quietly with yourself in these 5 minutes and go back to all these magical, love filled moments.
Creating magic in your life comes from the fruit of your own positive thoughts and energy.
Here is what one of my readings said this morning:
“You know that feeling when all of a sudden it seems like everything you ever wanted to happen starts happening? And you’re totally blown away and on top of the world, almost feeling like you don’t even have any more dreams because they’re all coming true?
Yet you’re slammed because you’re stretching yourself like you’ve never been stretched before. And every day some new magical realization hits you! You’ve never felt so happy in all of your life. Except you wish so much that everyone close to you could have the same overwhelming experiences.
And you feel like you now understand all of the tough times, all of the slow days and all of the phases when it seemed like absolutely nothing was happening in your life. You wonder why you haven’t always felt like this because what you feel is so much more than just the joy of dreams coming true.
You realize there’s always been more to be happy about than sad. And you wonder what it was that used to trouble you, and how it could have seemed so real, or how it could’ve seemed bigger than the beauty you now live in. You shake your head , knowing how perfect everything is, how perfect it’s always been, and how perfect it always will be.
You give thanks with your hands over your face, tasting the salt of your tears, and you know that this, this feeling, more than anything else you’ve ever experienced is meant to be.”
If you simply spend 5 minutes each day, feeling all of the most wonderful feelings you can feel, you will transform your entire life.
Will you do it?
Even knowing these steps that will help you create a magical life, you may not choose to do this every day.
As the new year approaches, I am challenging you to carve out just 5 minutes each day to do this.
Leave me a comment below about your intentions to actually do this for 5 minutes each day. When you have someone to hold you accountable it will increase your chances for success. Find someone who will take on this challenge with you. Be each other’s accountability partner.

I love the idea of 5 minutes. I can set my alarm that much earlier, and spend 5 minutes under the covers feeling grateful and happy.
