Clutter is stuck energy. Release it.
Since we are all energy beings, and everything in life holds an energy, clutter, carries an energy of being stuck.
Due to talking with my friend about this topic, I decided to share this article once again.
Consequently, I thought about another friend, who I call an “expert” on this subject.
Kim Julen is someone I hired to help Feng Shui my town home years ago, when it was not selling. It was on the market for about 9 months.
Literally 3 weeks after working with Kim, my town home sold.
Likewise, Kim came over to my new home to Feng Shui it as well.
Hence, many people who have come into our home, have told me how good the energy feels and how comfortable it is.
I agree.
Now, I do not understand much about Feng Shui, I just know it works!
I’ll share Kim’s information at the bottom of this article, in case you want to reach out to her. Everything she does, can be done remotely. However, at the time, Kim lived in the Twin Cities of St. Paul/Minneapolis.
Today she is living her dream on the beautiful island of Maui!
For instance, here is a tip Kim wrote in one of her articles:
“Cleaning your home, top to bottom, really well, is a way of thanking your home for supporting you. Cleaning naturally involves moving things around which shifts the energy in your space. It’s like removing the cog in a wheel that’s been stuck which suddenly allows you to get rolling and move forward again!”
As I looked further at Kim’s website, I found a wonderful piece she wrote with many tips to clear clutter and get the energy moving.
Here’s the link to read this important article:
Clear Clutter Once and For All:
There are other articles you can read on Kim’s website about this topic.
Because there was so much wonderful information on her site, I’ll let you read her many tips.
Her website and contact information are at the bottom of this article.
Since everything is energy and energy needs to flow freely, by having clutter in your home, work place or car, it clogs this energy up.
And by refusing to let go of anything that no longer serves you, you create a lot of stagnant energy.
Not only in your environment, but also in your body and your life.
Clutter keeps you from focusing on what truly matters.
You are here to know yourself – to learn, to grow, to love, and to evolve – mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Living within a messy environment slows down your ability to achieve all the above.
When you have a clean home, car, and office, your energy is flowing easily, and you can breathe easier. Have you noticed that?
“Clutter is a physical manifestation of fear that cripples our ability to grow.” ~ H.G. Chissell
It keeps you stuck in the past, instead of living from your present. Think about it.
If you have lots of stuff cluttering your home from your past, how can you move forward?
“There’s memory clutter, which reminds you of an important person, achievement, or event from your past. I think memory clutter often gathers in the homes of people with some degree of depression.
And then there’s ‘I might need it one day clutter’, in which people hang on to stuff in anticipation of an imagined future. Among these folks, I’ve noticed a recurring theme of anxiety…Maybe it’s possible that the stuff we own and obsess over is the physical manifestation of the mental health issues that challenge our minds.” Peter Walsh
Wow think about that! You may dismiss it, only if you are someone who lives within any amount of clutter, this truly is something to look at and change, for your well-being.
When you clear and let go of all the clutter that is present in your life – you automatically make room in your life for something new. For something better to come along.
I hired another friend, Katie Ocel, to help work along side me as I organized my two homes.
Katie helps people with staging a home as they are getting ready to sell it.
Plus, she helps you go through things, throw away and organize, creating a beautiful space. Her eye for beauty and decorating is refreshing.
As a result of having Katie with me, her kindness, her easy way about her, and her eye for organization, I had fun doing this work!
Doing something so large and daunting, created stress when I thought about it.
Because I had Katie with me, the work got finished with enjoyment and a sense of pride.
Here’s Katie’s FB page, to reach out to her if you’re in the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul:

Finally, reaching out to someone to help you, to get it all done more quickly, is the best way to go.
And perhaps like me, you will enjoy the work!
Here is to moving forward with joy, love and freedom,
Connie
