Appriciation & Gratitude
As I’m writing this article about appreciation and gratitude, I’m preparing to attend a small gathering to celebrate the union, of my first born child, Adam and his new wife Laura. To the left is a picture of Adam and Laura.
I appreciate that Adam has found someone he loves, to spend his life with. As a parent, all I have ever wanted for each of my children, was to find happiness and to love their lives, and to go out into the world and make a positive difference in some way.
I wish for you, Adam and Laura, a wonderful, healthy, happy life that will provide for each of you, opportunities to step up and become who each of you were meant to be! This is the journey I am continually, consciously on, for myself, as well.
I have so much to be thankful for in my life.
Gratitude/Appreciation, is something that has helped me change around many present moments from many different feelings that haven’t felt especially good, to feelings of love and feelings that feel better.
I will talk in another article this month, about going on a conscious “Rampage of Appreciation”. I do this many times throughout my days.
I slow down and become aware of my surroundings, and feel the love and appreciation I have for whoever is in my present space or for nature or anything else that is around me.
It changes my energy to a higher vibration, and I know others can feel it, when they simply become aware too. Even if people aren’t consciously aware, I know people can feel others vibes.
Think about times you’ve walked into a room, a party or gathering, or any place, and you can tell immediately something is off. Or the opposite, when you walk into a setting and everything feels warm and inviting.
I feel it’s my responsibility to be aware as many of my present moments as I can, of what I’m giving off to the world. I’m either giving or taking away, at any given moment. Even if it’s simply a split second when I can connect with someone’s eyes and smile or if I don’t. It can mean the world to that other person, if I give that smile and connect with their eyes, or perhaps speak to them.
I also write in a Gratitude Journal every morning too. I’ll write more about that later on in the month too.
But, writing down what you’re thankful for each day, adds power to it.
So, as I finish this article, I hope each and everyone of you, who takes the time to read this, begins to take your own responsibility to consciously become aware of how thankful, appreciative and grateful you are at any given moment, and make the choice to go on your own “Rampage of Appreciation” and make a difference in your own life and of those that are around you!
What a great gift to give to yourself and the world!
Now I have a celebration to get ready for!
Please consider sharing this article for others to read, so we can get this message further out into the world!
Many blessings to all of you and yours,
Connie
