Because I just heard my yoga instructor speak about living life intentionally and on purpose, I wanted to share this with you.
As the yoga class began, she shared about living our lives as an honor and a duty.
Therefore, I found myself intrigued by her thoughts.
In other words, she said it’s a privilege to be here and to choose to be living our life intentionally and on purpose.
Wow, deep thoughts I’ve found, this instructor usually shares with us.
For instance, I find myself listening closely to everything she imparts during our peaceful, warm, candlelit one hour together.
Furthermore, she talked about Dharma.
Since I’d heard of it and didn’t really know the definition of it, I did my research and found this to share with you:
“Dharma in yoga refers to the principle of living in accordance with one’s true purpose and duty, guiding individuals toward ethical living and self-realization.
In addition:
“In yoga philosophy, dharma is central to the practice and is often associated with the idea of living one’s truth.
It encourages practitioners to discover their unique path and purpose in life. Which is seen as a journey toward self-realization.
The pursuit of dharma involves aligning one’s actions with their values, responsibilities and the greater good.
Thus, contributing to personal and collective well-being.”
Now what does this mean for you? Will you choose to live your life intentionally and on purpose?
As a result of my sharing inspiring messages within my blogs now, for over 13 years, I see that dharma is similar to many things I share.
It may come from a different religion than I’m familiar with. Only, all of this can be tied back to the Universal Laws.
Simply put, as you slow down and intentionally make choices knowing it’s a privilege and honor to be alive, you will make a positive difference.
Similarly, when you live from a purpose, which inspires you, your days and life will feel uplifted.
The yoga instructor emphasized about it being our duty to live this way.
Lastly, I’m hoping that each of you reading this article with stop and think about your life, thoughts, feelings and choices and move toward dharma.
As we all do this more often we will be, “contributing to personal and collective well-being.”
For we are all energy beings, adding our vibrations every second of every day, into our world.
Let’s make them positive as we add love and joy to each other’s lives.
With love and hope,
Connie
