I spoke about the power of love, energy and prayer a few weeks ago.
Today I’m really seeing first hand, the power of prayer and love.
Shown in the photo is my 26 year old nephew, Login ( pronounced Logan). My brother Jimmy and his wife Brenda’s son.
Last weekend Login was almost home riding his motorcycle in the Toledo, Ohio area at 8:20 pm, just before dark.
An 82 year old man pulled out and hit Login’s motorcycle. The car apparently didn’t hit Login’s body. He was thrown off of the motorcycle and sustained several injuries.
Because Login is so loved, there were many young people, most of my very large family, Login’s brother’s and of course his parents, in the waiting room of the ICU all night and all day Sunday. Lots of people coming in and out showing their love, support and offering prayers.
The power of love and prayer has been very visible in how Login is healing.
He remains in an induced coma to let any swelling in his brain go down and is on the ventilator as I’m writing this article. He was wearing his helmet and some protective clothing I’m told.
When you read this I’m hoping and praying Login is off the ventilator and is awake.
He is responding when they ask him to squeeze their hands and he actually gives a thumbs up when they ask him to.
I won’t go into all of the details about his injuries, only I know that with so many out in the United States praying for him via FB and social media and prayer lists, it’s truly working.
Do you know when you send love, prayers and healing energy to another, it really can be scientifically shown that it helps?
This is a piece of what I wrote a few weeks ago in my blog on this topic:
All prayer – no matter what the religion – has a certain power, but some techniques are more powerful than others says Dr. George King. He also says this about prayer:
Throughout the centuries healing, which some people have described as miracles, have been brought about through the correct use of prayer.
Now, what is prayer? Prayer is a way to transmit energy from point A – the prayer [i.e. the person praying], to point B – the person who needs that prayer. The prayer energy is carried safely to its destination by the power of Love.
The spiritual energy which is sent from the prayer [i.e. the person praying] to the recipient was referred to by the ancient yogis as, “prana” or “the universal life force”. But the carrier of that energy is Love…
Please continue to pray for Login’s full recovery and for the family.
I feel strongly that many have already stopped to look at their own lives and to begin cherishing people more, as they have felt the love they have for Login. Prayer is powerful. You do not need to be religious to pray.
You simply need to become present to the love you have for that person and send it to them. I happen to call in God, the Universe and angels as well.
I know none of us has a guarantee of how long we will be here on this earth. The work I do, to the best of my ability, each day, is adding to the healing energy of this planet and to everyone around me.
I know we are each messengers here. Every one of us. So I ask you, will you take your responsibility and choose to give love and kindness and send prayers to others consciously?
Will you be the example of someone who is choosing to add to life instead of taking from it?
I like to believe that everyone of you reading this will answer yes to what I asked above.
With much love and blessings to you,
Connie
