Several years ago I took the Strength Finders Test. I found my number one strength to be 'Connectedness'. My number two strength is 'Empathy'.

At the time, I was disappointed because other people's results were 'Strategic' or 'Innovative' or what seemed to me more interesting ones. Now, I am happy to say that I am PROUD of my strengths.

When I am in a store and the cashier seems to be having a bad day, I look for something to compliment them on, like maybe their pretty nails. It always seems to get them to start talking and cheer them up even if it is just for the moment they are with me.

Excellent post, Connie!
