From Life Struggles to Poetry to Bliss
by Wyn Plocher
Following Connie Hertz’s four huge steps in M.O. V. E. is something that I have done for the most part prior to even knowing Connie. This fact, acknowledges that her creative coaching and steps are universal and can fit everyone and any problem that affects your life.
Briefly, my “stuck” incident began when I retired from teaching middle school math and science in 2009, only to find out two weeks later that my husband had prostate cancer. Grief was not something I had hoped for as we started our retirement together. Gratefully I became a caregiver for the first year after his successful cancer surgery. However, being a caregiver is stressful, so I needed an outlet.
I immediately took up exercising for relief. I started slow with swimming, added yoga, added Curves, and later added ballroom dancing. My mood and outlook changed to joy. My husbands rapid healing helped, too. I was now feeling much better about myself. I had begun to MOVE!
One stress leaving does not mean there are not more on the horizon. I began writing “channeled” poetry after experiencing two past-life regressions. I was overwhelmed, confused, excited, and joyful all at the same time. The poems came together over a year and a half and I self-published a book, Find Your Bliss, Soul Poems Channeled and Written by Wynnie. This was truly a gift from the Universe, and I am grateful every day, but this was so new to me, I was not taking ownership of my work.
With the help of friends and encouragement from people like Connie who appreciated my book, I was able to move into “ownership” (the O in MOVE.)
This ownership was closely connected to the “verbalizing” (the V in MOVE) as without friends and colleagues to talk to about my process of writing and sharing my work, I know I would not be where I am today in my process. My purpose was to share love with the world, writing my book has accomplished part of sharing love with others. Later, I verbalized further by “telling my story” of how I came to write the book on the Divine Goddess Radio, blog talk show earlier this year.
Connie speaks of the E in move as Expand who you are spiritually, which to me means move toward enlightenment. I have been reading and educating myself on spiritual information for over 35 years. Writing a channeled poetry book was definitely an expanding and “enlightening” experience. I trusted what was happening in my soul and my heart and followed both to enjoy my success, my wisdom, and my bliss.
Over the years I have read many books, from Shirley MacLaine and Edgar Cayce (in the early years) to Wayne Dyer, Louise Hay, and Brian Weiss (more recently) just to name a few. I use Louise Hay’s mantras and healing messages frequently and love all she has done for the world. I listen to several online spiritual leaders, including Healing with the Masters.
I recently began to meditate regularly. I took up the Deepak Chopra and Oprah 21 Day Meditation Challenge and found it very helpful, rewarding, and inspiring after two full weeks. I had also read and used Sarah McLean’s book: Soul-Centered: Transform Your Life in 8 Weeks with Meditation with a group on Facebook. Both activities have made a major change in the way and regularity that I meditate.
In addition I have taken “classes” on Spiritual Development. The “teachers” share their information and help educate me on things I may not have experienced on my journey in this lifetime. I was drawn to study “past-life” experiences and stories since the late 70’s, only now to realize (and have confirmed) that I had been guided to study that information from my higher self. Significant people and events in this lifetime connect to my past lives. All my experiences have opened me up spiritually and expanded my spiritual growth significantly. I am working toward unconditional love and living in bliss.
Thank you Connie for your encouragement and MOVE method that I will continue to use to help me get unstuck and stay that way. Please share this post with all of your FB friends and per email, so we can touch more people!
Blessings,
Wynnie

Patience is the key to Joy! Rumi
It’s always refreshing to read about someone’s journey and see the strength you’ve brought to yourself as a result of what could be construed as “suffering.” Kudos
I agree, Marita. Wynnie’s inspirational messages in her book are wonderful!
